Welcome to this month’s edition of the Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop!
I am so thankful that life took a break long enough for me to get into the craft room and make a little something for y’all!
This month’s hop focuses on the In Colors. I love all the colors that we have right now. But the new 2024-2026 In Colors have me swooning!
I am going to be upfront and honest with you… This is a safe space, right! Well, when I looked to see what the theme was for this month, I actually looked at last June! So, I didn’t focus on In Colors… Luckily, I used two! UGH!!!
Last June, we had a card sketch as our inspiration. With that as my guide, here is what I came with for you!
I love this LILY POND LANE 6″ X 6″ (15.2 X 15.2 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. It coordinated very well with the Pretty Peacock card base and features a few of the 2024-2026 In Colors – Peach Pir and Pretty in Pink. This card is pretty much the sketch design.
The sentiment and shapes come from the CHEERFUL DAISIES PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET. While those shapes are actually the center of flowers, I think they look like gum drops! Now you will never unsee it! In the voice of Maui… “You’re Welcome!”
I hear you. You’re asking what else? You know me so well.
I did create another card.
I changed it up just a bit!
I still used Pretty Peacock as my base and the Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper. I just added am additional layer in Pretty in Pink so I could put in an extra sentiment.
I love the sentiments from the WONDERFUL THOUGHTS PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET. They are perfect for so many different occasions. Plus, the fonts are lovely!
Here’s a glimpse at the inside inside!
I just love this sentiment for my best friend! We have been besties since the day we met 27 years ago and will be besties until the day we die! I sure hope you have a friend like that! They are priceless!
Well folks, that’s all I have for you this month. Maybe next month, I will follow directions better but no guarantee! It’s time for you to hop along!
Until next time… keep it simple, Stampers
🙂 Joanne
