So, it’s been a while since I have done a blog post just to do a blog post, hasn’t it!
Well, since today is the first day of the week and the first day of the month… I thought it is the perfect day just to start posting more regularly to show you other things I have been working one.
For several months, I have been participating in tutorial group with other Stampin’ up!® demonstrators. By participating in this group, I am able to offer my customers tutorials that include stamp sets that I may not own.
In March, our theme was Easter/Seasonal.
This is the project that I submitted.

It was inspired by Judy Gelniak. It features the Varied Vases bundle from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. My color scheme was a simple two-color scheme with Lemon Lime Twist and Whisper White.

Here is the card up close…
In the tutorial, I had two tips that help with stamping the vases so that they can be punched out easily.
The first tip is about how to line up the stamps on one block so that they can be stamped at one time then punched at one time. Here are the graphics I included in the tutorial about row to line the stamps up…
I punched out a template and lined up the photopolymer stamps using it.
My second tip was about how to get the flowers on that vase in the center. You’ll have to download the tutorial for that.
What’s great about having a tutorial in your hands? Well, it makes it easier to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) when you have the dimensions the person used. It’s like having the blue print.
So, here is a second card I made using the tutorial but a different color scheme.
I just love that Gingham Ribbon. I am going to be sad if it is retiring at the end of May :(.
And, it’s close up…
I used that same technique with the flowery vase, but added the outline stamp to bring the other two vases together.
And, you can’t forget the inside… or the envelope.
I switched up this inside a little by not included the strip of DSP at the bottom but stamping the flowers instead.
I just love to write tutorials. It is my way of teaching y’all how to make the cards when you can’t attend one of my classes.
