These were definitely not words that I heard growing up.  In fact, I remember one Christmas when I was in 4-5th grade.  My sister and I had figured out out to open presents without getting caught.  So, we peeked in them all while Mom and Dad were out one night.  Imagine our surprise when we came downt he stairs Christmas morning and there were NO presents.  Oh my…  We thought we were so sneaky.  Not so.  Somehow – still a mystery to this day – Mom found out.  We did eventually get the presents.  But lesson learned and we never peeked again!  To this day, I won’t ever peek.
