Our theme this month is BIRTHDAY SURPRISE! It should come as no surprise that Stampin’ Up© offers a plethora of stamps just perfect for birthdays…  all ages, all genders, all personalities… it’s all here for everyone.

Well, with it’s bold images and perfect sayings, it is no wonder that BEAUTIFUL DAY (145912/145915) is fast becoming one of my favorite sets of all times.

I decided I wanted to do something a little different so I went with a corner fold card.  It’s can be a little tricky to do, but there are several tutorials to be found.

I choose Pool Party, Fresh Fig, and Daffodil Delight for my color scheme.

Between the flower and the butterfly, it was really hard to decide which to do on this card.  But, once I made the decision I stamped it with Fresh Fig and used the Dark and Light Daffodil Delight Blends to color it in.

I then stamped the sentiment from the set on to a strip and cut it out as a banner.  A little piece of the Fresh Fig behind it sets it off just a enough.
