It’s been said that the only things I don’t know are the things that I simply don’t know.  I admit that I know a lot… In fact, I can be a little of a “know-it-all” according my kids, my sister, and my husband. LOL  But, I truly love knowledge.  You are never too old to learn new things.

In fact, something that you may not know about me is that I started college in the Spring of 2008 when I was 36 years old.  I graduated Summa cum Laude from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelors of Science in Education.  I majored in both Special Education and Elementary Education with endorsements in Middle School Math, Social Science, and English/Language Arts.  So, as you see, I am always up for a challenge and willing to learn anything.

So, that being said… I shared that just to get tot his point..

You never know… where I will end up.

Yesterday, for example, I could be found at our local Curves.  Curves is a place for women to go and workout by completing a circuit of machines and cardio stations.  It’s a great place to meet new friends.

I was invited by the owner to come down and set up a little something to give the members a chance to see what I do.

So, that is exactly what I did.  Now, this is not my typical craft fair set up.  I just took one 6′ table.  I set my samples and flyers on one side and left the other side for a cute little make-and-take.  I also borrowed a table to set my box of cards for sale on.

I was happy for the opportunity to chat with the ladies before, during, and after their workout.  I saw a lot of people I hadn’t seen in a bit and met some new faces.  I love that our Curves reaches out to help their members grow their home-based business.

The card was very simple.  I needed something that they could make in mere minutes as many of the women just pop in to workout between other tasks.

Just a couple of products out of the new catalog stamped and layered on Whisper White Notecards.

So, it’s that great!  There will be more stuff to go along with those notecards… I will announce those items later.
