Today, I am joining Janet Wakeland and her team in their monthly blog hop. This month’s theme is Last Minute Holiday Ideas… And, of course, that holiday is HALLOWEEN
Coming up with special treats for Halloween is always fun. I don’t do Halloween like I would like too, but someday… You know that proverbial someday that usually never comes. Hopefully I get a redo why I get grandkids… Which with be a multitude of years from now.
Anywho… Here are the projects I came up with for you!
Don’t you just love the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper. They really thought out this one! The DSP comes with that perfect moonlit scene just screaming for the Owl from the Spooky Cat stamp set. And, of course he needs a witches hat from another one of the DSP patterns. I layered to add interest then I put on the top of a black pizza box. Unlike the box on my last post, this one I just colored with the black archival ink pad. The coverage was great, don’t you think!
What could you put into that box? Hmmmm… I wonder!
Here are some treat tubes in a cute little holder. I honestly forget whose blog I got the dimensions from… But it is not my creation. I did cut the top using the Detailed Gate Thinlits. Spooky Cat stamps add the character necessary for the perfect treat. And, I did cheat a little and used some.of the retired Stazon ink to put the little rats right on the tube (the one in the middle). Add a little DSP and there ya go!
And, one more little treat for you!
Just a little Cat Box. It’s perfect for holding little treats like Reese’s peanut butter cups! (Or these Palmer ones from the dollar store!).
Here is how the box opens…
And, some measurements!
Well, that’s all I have for you today… How about hopping along to see what everyone else has created for your last minute Halloween treat ideas!
Until next time…keep it simple, stampers!
