{"id":462,"date":"2016-10-28T19:09:12","date_gmt":"2016-10-28T19:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/keepitsimplestampers.com\/?p=462"},"modified":"2016-10-28T19:09:12","modified_gmt":"2016-10-28T19:09:12","slug":"the-light-of-heaven","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/keepitsimplestampers.com\/?p=462","title":{"rendered":"The Light of Heaven"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve been there &#8211; multiple times!\u00a0 No, silly&#8230; not Heaven&#8230; Pinterest.\u00a0 There you are, scrolling through the masses when something catches your eye.\u00a0 But, you went past it too quick and now you can&#8217;t find it again.\u00a0 Or&#8230;\u00a0 you have a bazillion pins of similar things that are all just different enough&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Something in these pins inspires you.\u00a0 It sits with you until all you can see is the vision you were made to create.\u00a0 Well, that was me a couple weeks ago.\u00a0 I think I was inspired by a rash of sunburst cards or the Star of Light collections&#8230;\u00a0 either way, This card flashed into my mind and I haven&#8217;t been able to get it out until now.\u00a0 I even had to order a new stamp set just for the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>The Joyful Nativity set was on my list&#8230; I just didn&#8217;t own it yet!\u00a0 But, it works perfect!<\/p>\n<p>So, here is my latest creation.\u00a0 It really wasn&#8217;t that hard with a ruler and some patience.\u00a0 Turn out first try other than some messing up on the actual stampin&#8217; inside.\u00a0 But, it&#8217;s just a starting point for more cards!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-475\" src=\"https:\/\/keepitsimplestampers.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/10\/2016-10-28-10-06-49wm.jpg\" alt=\"2016-10-28-10-06-49wm\" width=\"2658\" height=\"3246\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-476\" src=\"https:\/\/keepitsimplestampers.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/10\/2016-10-28-10-07-12wm.jpg\" alt=\"2016-10-28-10-07-12wm\" width=\"2658\" height=\"3246\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Notice how my watermark above hides the bit of stampin&#8217; where I must have picked up something that was on my foam from when I was &#8220;breaking in&#8221; my new stamps.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, you usually do need to break in your new photopolymer stamps before you use them.\u00a0 Some people use a bit of sandpaper or an emery board.\u00a0 I just stamp multiple times with it and clean it on my absorbent pad.\u00a0 It helps a bit.\u00a0 The only thing that really seems to help is just use!!!\u00a0 Use those stamps, People!!!<\/p>\n<p>And BONUS &#8211; I did a tutorial with this one!\u00a0 Here you go!\u00a0 Click on the link below to get the pdf file.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a title=\"proj-sheet-light-of-heaven\" href=\"https:\/\/keepitsimplestampers.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/10\/proj-sheet-light-of-heaven1.pdf\">proj-sheet-light-of-heaven<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The measurements weren&#8217;t tricky or anything, really.
