Welcome to this month’s edition of the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Joanne Cantrell from a tiny little town in Southern Illinois smack dab in the middle of the United States. I hope you enjoy what you see here.<\/p>\n

Our theme for this month is Easter or Seasonal. I am just guessing that the “season” is spring… But that’s because it is spring here in the United States. Because I am a terrible global citizen, I have no idea what season it is in the other corner of the world… Is it fall? 🤔. Hmmmm. Maybe it’s a good thing I chose to go with Easter! 😁<\/p>\n

So, without further ado, here are my cards for this month.<\/p>\n

My basic color scheme for this set is Whisper White and Gorgeous Grape. And, the only stamp set used was His Grace Cling Stamp Set found in the 2019 Occasions Catalog.<\/p>\n

Let’s look at the first card. This card is perfect for the new or beginning Stamper.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This is just a simple ink and paper card. I stamped the floral images free hand. They are pretty easy to line up and fit together we’ll without overlapping. I then stamped the sentiment in the center.<\/p>\n

I added some Mini Stripe Ribbon in Gorgeous Grape and tied it in a basic knot. I also added the purple (techiqually, Highland Heather) sequins from the Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins at each little curly-que.<\/p>\n

This next card is perfect for the casual stamper who may have a little more in way of supplies and experience.<\/p>\n

I know… it really doesn’t look like something your casual crafter could do, but it really doesn’t take any tools other than a pair of Paper Snips and a Blender Pen. Seriously!<\/p>\n

I stamped the floral images in Gorgeous Grape on a piece of Highland Heather. Then, I used my Paper Snips to “fussy cut” the inside out. I used Stampin’ Write Markers in Old Olive and Gorgeous Grape to color the sentiment before stamping it. I placed the Highland Heather layer over the white layer so the sentiment would be positioned correctly-er.<\/p>\n

I stamped the flowers and dove using the markers to get the two different colors. For the flowers, I used a Blender Pen and ink in the stamp pad lid to add color. Then, I used my snips to cute them out.<\/p>\n

A few Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots and some Snail adhered all the layers together. A tiny little bow and a some of the iridescent sequins from the same pack I used before make the card just pop!<\/p>\n

And, finally… Here is a card for the avid stamper. You know the type… They have everything. So, this card uses the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine and some dies (because why own a Big Shot if you don’t use any dies, right!)<\/p>\n

I mean, it’s really not any fancier than the last card. I did use different measurements for the layer spacing as well as the Layering Circle dies. But that’s really all it is. If you don’t own a Big Shot, let me know and I can hook you up!!!<\/p>\n

I used the same ribbon and the purple sequins to add that extra touch!<\/p>\n
