Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Joanne Cantrell\u00a0 from middle of the United States. I hope you enjoy my Take Inspiration<\/em><\/strong> project I made just for you.<\/p>\n

Yes, this month’s projects have all been inspired by our beautiful Ink & Inspiration logo.\u00a0 Some may be inspired by the colors, others by the geometric patterns, the watecoloring, or the black-on-pastel look.\u00a0 As for me, I think I was inspired by all of the above!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Simplicity at it’s finest right there! And, full disclosure…\u00a0 I whipped it out in under ten minutes.\u00a0 It really is that simple of a card.\u00a0 But, WOW!!!\u00a0 People would think you took hours on it.<\/p>\n

First, I trimmed a piece of watercolor paper to 5-1\/4″ x 4″.\u00a0 I found a lovely open flower in the Cake Soiree stamp set and used VersaMark and set white embossing powder to create the white patterns.<\/p>\n

Then, using an Aquapainter, I covered the paper with water and applied bits of color from the ink pad covers.\u00a0 I used Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Crushed Curry, Marina Mist, and Emerald Envy. And presto… I have the background.<\/p>\n

The foreground was even easier!\u00a0 All I did was cut the sentiment out of Basic Black Cardstock. And added a Flirty Flamingo Enamel Shape for interest.<\/p>\n

Add a little Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon, and a black card base and you have a truly simple card inspired by our IIBH logo!<\/p>\n
