So, a couple months ago, I volunteered to put together the Make-n-Take for our Stampin’ Up upline meeting.\u00a0 This is where a bunch of us demonstrators with the gal that we signed up under and talk and learn and, of course, stamp.\u00a0 I had just received my Eastern Palace Bundle, so I figured I could use that.<\/p>\n

Here’s a blurry shot of the card.. I didn’t take a clear one, I guess!<\/p>\n

\"2017-04-21<\/p>\n

While the Designer Series Paper in this suite is very beautiful, I didn’t want to use it all my first time out.\u00a0 The story of my life, right!\u00a0 Anyway… I used two of the images from the stamp set (Eastern Beauty – #143675) to create my own tone-on-tone DSP by stamping in Fresh Fig on Fresh Fig cardstock.<\/p>\n

\"2017-04-21<\/p>\n

The thinlits that come with the Eastern Palace Bundle (Eastern Medallions Thinlits – #143725) are meant to be stacked together to create wonderful medallions.\u00a0 But, they also do not cut things out completely, so I\u00a0 paired the medallion with 3″ circle from the Layering Circle die set.\u00a0 I used washi tape to hold them together so they wouldn’t slide.<\/p>\n

For the sentiment, I embossed one of the circles from the stamp set\u00a0 using the gold powder.\u00a0 I then used the 2″ circle from the Layering Circle dies to cut it out.\u00a0 It is very close to the edge, so you may want to secure it in place using washi as well.<\/p>\n

Just a tip – I actually ran them both through the Big Shot at the same time \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The ladies all enjoyed making it.\u00a0 And, I will say, I had an absolute blast chit-chatting with them all was they made the cards.\u00a0 I love our monthly meetings!<\/p>\n
