<\/p>\nI know I have been a bit absent as of late.\u00a0 It’s been a bit hectic in my world!\u00a0 Above it all, I continue to be amazed at the way God works in the lives of those around me.\u00a0 He is in control.\u00a0 He has a plan.\u00a0 I just sit back and watch Him work.\u00a0 He is AWE-some!<\/p>\n
A dear close friend and co-worker had a baby this weekend.\u00a0 The baby was about a week late in vacating the premises.\u00a0 Things happened during birth – not tragic, but concerning things.\u00a0 Ended up in nursery on monitors.\u00a0 Doctors felt best to transport her to bigger hospital a few hours away.\u00a0 Just precautionary.\u00a0 Mom was heartbroken.\u00a0 By the time the parents arrived there, baby was off monitors, doing great.\u00a0 Less than 12 hours there – she is off oxygen and IV.\u00a0 If no infection, she’ll get to come home in the next couple days.\u00a0 God’s is control of this – it’s easy to see.<\/p>\n\n
What a difference a few hours make.\u00a0 Even though you can’t see her face, you can tell how she feels in the different pictures!\u00a0 I can tell she has a huge smile on her face in that second photo – can’t you!! Well, wouldn’t you just be beaming if you got to hold you baby for the first time ever – and she is nearly two days old!?!<\/p>\n
So, how does this relate back to cards and Stampin’ Up?<\/p>\n
Well, I had a meeting last night with my Stampin’ friends.\u00a0 We did a Spring time Swap.\u00a0 My I loved my swap card so much I decided that I needed to make an extra and give to my friend whose strength has just amazed me through such a difficult time!<\/p>\n
So, here is a sneak peak at some of the items coming out in the new catalog on June 1st… because this card uses one of the new Hostess Sets – Feathery Friends.\u00a0 It’s perfect to color using your Stampin Write Markers or Watercolor Pencils.\u00a0 And, check out the vibrant green.\u00a0 It’s one of the new In Colors 2017-2019 called Lucky Limeade.\u00a0 Actually – all the colors you see on the card are the new In Colors!\u00a0 It’s so bright and cheery!\u00a0 I really do think that this card will make my dear friend smile!\u00a0 After all, that’s why we make cards, right!\u00a0 To brighten up someone’s day!<\/p>\n
