So, if you are an avid stamper like I am, you can appreciate the details of a very intricate cards.<\/p>\n

But, if you are just starting out… a novice.. an under-confident stamper… HAVE NO FEAR!\u00a0 This stampin’ thing is not as hard as one may make it out to be.\u00a0 Those that do are usually not crafters.<\/p>\n

Stampin’ is really just all about putting ink to paper then sitting back and smiling at a job well done.<\/p>\n

So, I had a Stamp Camp last night and three ladies showed up.\u00a0 One is an experienced stamper – nothing professional or intricate… loves to do simple cards and mail them.\u00a0 One, is a more novice stamper but loves to create things to give to people… she has a heart of gold and it shows.\u00a0 And one… Let’s just say she doesn’t think stampin’ is her cup of tea.\u00a0 It surprised me that she wanted to come… but she is so much fun.<\/p>\n

So, as luck would have it… I was able to sit at the table with my guests – right next to my hesitant stamper and coach them all along.\u00a0 My class rules were simple… grab a bag of raw materials, gather the rest of the items listed in the recipe and create away.\u00a0 As we began, my hesitant stamper was nervous but took one she through would be easy.\u00a0 It was – but not the easiest one since there was a bit of a technique involved.\u00a0 But, with me sitting there helping her, she was able to get the card done.\u00a0 As she worked through them, she gained more and more confidence.\u00a0 But the last of her five cards, she was going off script a little and getting a bit more creative.\u00a0 She made some fabulous cards and gained a little confidence in her stampin’ ability.\u00a0 I promised her yummy food to bring her back next month.. we’ll see if it works!<\/p>\n

So, the cards that my hesitant stamper liked the best was this one.\u00a0 Simple and elegant.\u00a0 It was CASE’d from Frenchie!\u00a0 She’s a great resource!<\/p>\n

\"2017-03-17\"2017-03-17<\/p>\n

To recreate, cut and score card base for a landscape card that fold on top (5-1\/2″ x 8-1\/2″ scored at 4-1\/4″).\u00a0 Burnish (fancy word for creasing and flattening) the fold.\u00a0 Use the Corner Rounding punch to just the corners a bit of flair.\u00a0 If you forget this step until the end… you can still punch the top of the card – just the pearls get in the way for the bottom – ask me how I know! \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 Use the Momento ink to stamp the greeting on the outside and the sentiment and flowers on the inside as shown above.\u00a0 Use Sweet Sugarplum marker to color in the flowers and the Emerald Envy one to color the leaves.\u00a0 Cut a strip of the Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer paper… use Fast Fuse to adhere… SNAIL may work here but I thought with it being a bit heavier with the pearls… maybe a little stronger adhesive would be better!\u00a0 Attach some pearls to the glimmer paper and VOILA!\u00a0 a simply stunning card!<\/p>\n

**No Naked Envelopes… simply use the flower stamp and markers to dress it up a little!<\/p>\n
