Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop – Painted Autumn

Welcome to the October edition of the Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop!  This month we were challenged to use the Painted Harvest Designer Series Paper as the focal point of each of our projects.  Seems like an easy task given how beautiful the paper is.  But, I’m one that usually uses my DSP in the background.

And, actually… If truth be told, my hoard of DSP usually sits uncut on my shelf.  I hate to use it all up!  It’s so pretty.  What if I run out and they don’t make anymore?  But, as Kylie would say… #loveitchopit

So, here goes…  These are my offerings for you today!

This one uses the acorn pattern from the set of papers.  I really think it’s my favorite of the bunch.  It pairs perfectly with the leaves and acorns from the Count My Blessings stamp set.  I colored them using the new Stampin’ Blends.

O M G… Those are the best markers  ever!!!  They haven’t set a release date for customers yet, but if you sign up to be a demonstrator, you can order them in your starter kit if you sign up before Oct. 15th.

This card uses a simple pattern from the papers.  Just added a bit of Garden Green ribbon.  The sentiment is from the Lemon Seat stamp set.

And this one uses another basic pattern.  Don’t you just love those little tile squares.  Perfect with the little Cajun Craze and Soft Sky balloons.

Oops… How did that happen.  Looks like I used more of that acorn paper.  Told you I love it.  And, I paired it again with the Count My Blessings stamp set.  I added a little copper embossing, copper washi tape and copper ribbon to add excitement.

And the very last project… It’s a pizza box that I colored with Peekaboo Peach using a sponge brayer.  I then used the peachy polka-dotted pattern and Cajun Craze to make a flower using the bow punch.  I adhered it to a belly band made from the opposite side of the sheet of DSP and some more Cajun Craze (which may just be my new favorite color!).  Added a little linen thread and voila!!! A pizza box perfect for some salted caramels I just got at the candy store!

Now… Hop along to Patty!!!

Or hop on back to Debbie

Until next time… keep it simple, stampers!

🙂 Joanne
